CREDO
I grew up in the 1970's,
the analogue age, my father worked for pioneering US IT corporations,
when a computer was a factory floor with magnetic reel machines turning
like in the machine room of a 1970's space ship.
I experienced digital go from binary ping-pong on a screen, from tiny video arcade games
to large booths running Walt Disney's TRON in a huge fairground Arcade.
The 80ies fast forwarded photography, video and film into the new age of media and digital, continued in the 90ies.
Fast Forward is the only button on the tape recorder now.
Nakamichi is still the dream machine.
The Fast Forward button.
There comes a time when low tech beats high tech. and that is the human touch,
the artist behind the wheel of FF time, the reels turning slowly again.
Time to think.
Time to spool the message back.
Time to re-strategise in ways that have always worked.
The Rewind button
Use the new tools, run the old programme.
This is the time.
Back to the future.
